Dolmabahce Palace, the final residence of the Ottoman Sultans, showcases a blend of Ottoman and European architectural styles. Lavishly decorated with crystal and gold accents, including 14 tonnes of gold gilding the ceilings, the palace now serves as a museum on the Bosphorus Strait. Explore its grandeur by visiting the Medhal Hall, Audience Hall, and Muayede Hall, and take a glimpse into the harem where members of the royal family once lived. Children under 6 years are admitted free of charge, must be accompanied by an adult, and may be asked to present a valid passport or ID for age verification. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
