Ride the Mt. Senkoji Ropeway between central Onomichi and the summit of Mt. Senkoji, reaching Senkoji Park in just over three minutes. Look across the hillside temples, tiled rooftops and Onomichi Channel as the gondola climbs above the city. At the top, continue to the Senkoji PEAK Observatory for panoramic views or explore the park and nearby Senkoji Temple. Services normally depart every 15 minutes, with extra cars operating at busy times.

• Please note that the ropeway will be closed for annual maintenance from 7-25 December 2026.
• Children under 6 years old are free of charge when accompanied by a guardian, limited to one child per guardian.
• Wheelchair users weighing up to 180kg including the wheelchair can remain seated when using the wheelchair lift on the Kamome gondola side at both stations.
